Caring for pets has never felt like a job. It is my passion.
Hi! I'm Chloe, founder and lead pet professional at Chloe's Pet Care. I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, and what began as pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors eventually grew into a business built around providing the thoughtful, dependable care I would want for my own pets.
The more I worked with pets, the more I realized just how much trust goes into choosing someone to care for your pets and your home. I saw a need for pet care that combines a genuine love for animals with the things that matter just as much: reliability, clear communication, professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing things the right way. I wanted Chloe's Pet Care to provide exactly that.
My approach is also shaped by my professional background. I studied Psychology at Duke University, where my interest in animal behavior and cognition deepened through learning from renowned dog cognition researcher Dr. Brian Hare. I also competed for Duke Women's Tennis before going on to play professionally, experiences that taught me the value of preparation, consistency, discipline, and attention to the smallest details.
Today, I bring all of those experiences together through Chloe's Pet Care. I'm a Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS) and am committed to continuing my education in animal behavior, enrichment, health and safety, and pet care best practices because I believe exceptional care means always being willing to learn and improve.
Above all, I want my clients to feel completely confident in the person they're trusting with their pets and their home. Every animal has their own personality, routines, preferences, and needs, and taking the time to get to know them as an individual is a non-negotiable.
My goal is simple: provide the kind of care that gives you peace of mind and makes your pet feel safe, understood, and loved while you're away.

My partner Andy often helps out during longer overnight house-sitting stays and some drop-ins when he's available. Pet sitting is a round-the-clock job, and his helping hand when I need it most means that when we work as a pair, your pet gets an extra layer of love, attention, and companionship while you're away.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: every pet deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care. That is why I treat each animal as if they were my own, with a focus on what makes each of them special!
